Boat rides, Elephants, & Rain

Monday was a day of fun and of prep. We took boat rides and elephant rides. We had lunch at Doi Tung. Then we visited the Hall of Inspiration, learning some of Thailand's history. Before heading back to AYDC, we went to grab coffee when it started raining. It rained so hard, that while we were all huddled several feet in under the awning, we were all  from the mist. It was incredible.

We returned to AYDC to plan and prep for the next English Camp. This is the first trip of this kind for us, and we weren't totally sure what to expect. Our entire team has done well going with the flow. Our teacher dream team has rocked it, planning lessons, adapting lessons, managing resources, and leading us all in how we can best serve these kids, at this time. Thank you, Elaine, Connie, Char, and Michelle!! Y'all rock!
